The Autism Education & Therapy Center invites the community to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the completion of AutismETC’s new facility located at 941 Professional Park Drive in Clarksville. The ribbon cutting will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, February 1. This will be followed by a reception and tours of the building.
“This new building is like a dream come true. It has been my hope to have a state of the art, specialized building to meet the needs of children affected by autism. Children of all ages will receive services ranging from basic communication skills to life skills,” explains Karen Blake, Founder and President of AutismETC.
Rhonda Manous, Executive Director of the organization, agrees. “Our present building was only able to serve approximately 25 children at any given time. The new facility will allow Autism ETC to double the number of clients it serves each day.”
Architect Mike Manous consulted with Autism ETC’s behavior analysts to design this new 8,000+ sq. ft. facility that features numerous therapy rooms, two classrooms, a functional living skills area, and a gymnasium/lunchroom/auditorium, all in an aesthetically pleasing and sensory-friendly environment. The entrance and hallways will be inviting, yet secure.
